On 17th September, 2022, H. E Dr Benson Alfred Bana joined Edo State and myriad of dignitaries to celebrate the Holy Mass in Honour of Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, The Esama of Benin Kingdom for his dedication ceremony of Archangel Gabriel Catholic Church.

It is a massive House of God with the capacity of about 10,000 worshippers. The mass was attended among others, by two Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obasek8, his Deputy,. and about 12,000 people.

God Bless the Esama as he celebrates his 88th birthday.
