His Excellency meets the executives of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) Eastern Zone on 1st July, 2021 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The High Commission has identified NANTA as a formidable partner and continues to strive to bring on board tourism and travel practioners across Nigeria to identify and propagate Tanzania as a top tourist destination.

The meeting was intended to emancipate the travel business practioners on the divers tourism attactions in the United Republic of Tanzania and to attempt to address the questions, concerns and challenges that they may have in marketing Tanzania tourism destinations. The meeting is also one of the first steps in forging partnership between Tanzania tour operators and destination management companies and Nigeria travel agencies.

The meeting was attended virtually and physically by tourism and travel practioner from different states in the South-South and South-East region of Nigeria. The meeting was led by a Member of the Board of Trustee of NANTA Eastern Zone, Mrs Memberr Tariboba, also present are, PRO, Mrs Abodunrin Foluke, Internal Audiror, Mrs Okon Adaora, Secretary, Mrs Ngige Obinna Amarachi, Treasurer, Mrs Ohakwe Chiejine Ruth, and Financial Secretary, Mrs Okwara Oyinyechi. The Deputy Vice President, Mrs Umeasiegbu Chinyere was among the virtual participants.
