On 19th August 2024, H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, Former President of the United Republic of Tanzania, delivered the Graduation Lecture for Graduating Participants of Nigeria Defence College Course 32. The lecture  title was  "Democracy Beyond the Ballot Box: A pathway to Africa's Unity and Development"
