On 30th Nov. 2022, H. E. Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) Chancellor and former President of the United Republic of Tanzania conferred Doctor of Letters (D. Litt) Honoris Causa degree of UDSM on Her Excellency, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania. She was recognized by the University for her immense contribution in the education sector and humanity.
