His Excellency, Dr. Benson Alfred Bana received the President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Asiwaju, Dr. Michael Olawale-Cole, CON and the Director General, Dr. Chinyere Almona on their courtesy visit.
Amb. Bana applauded the signing of MoU between LCCI and its Tanzania counterpart (TCCIA) but further emphasized the need to activate the MoU with a Memorandum of Action (MoA), advising LCCI to organize a Trade Mission to Tanzania. He further Assured the President that the Mission will participate in the forthcoming Lagos International Trades Fair and mobilize Tanzania companies to participate as well in response to the invitation from the visitors.
The President informed of LCCI plan to construct a state of the arts International Conference Centre in Lagos in partnership with the Lagos State Government. And assured of its commitment to driving AfTFCA agreement in partnership with likeminded organizations like TCCIA.
