Tanzanian authorities have lowered park fees for East African citizens to attract more tourists from neighbouring countries. Adult EAC citizens visiting wildlife parks, historical sites and the likes will now pay Tsh10,000 ($ 4.2), the same fee charged adult Tanzanians. This is in line with the EAC terms.

Furthermore, Dr Pindi Chana (MP), the Honourable Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, said the Tanzanian government will also focus on meetings and conference visitors through exhibitions, conferences and other tours.
