Tour Operators Union of Ghana promises cooperation in selling Tanzania tourist Attractions. This was during a courtesy meeting by H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, Tanzania High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Mrs Alisa Osei Asamoah, President of Tour Operators Union of Ghana (TOUGHA) on 8th February 2022.

H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana paid a visit to the office of the Union during his exploratory mission in Ghana for preparation of Trade, Investment and Tourism (TIT) forum to be organised by the Tanzania High Commission, Abuja – Nigeria and held in the Republic of Ghana during the first half of 2022.  The forum is expected to bring on one stage, investors, the business community and tour operators from Ghana and neighbouring countries, to explore investment, and business opportunities available and investment incentives offered by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Among other things, H. E. Dr Benson Alfred Bana proposed to Mrs Alisa Osei Asamoah, to consider cooperating with like-minded organisations and actors in tourism industry to market Tanzania tourist attractions for mutual benefit. He highlighted this as an opportunity to compliment the efforts of the AfCFTA, to encourage intra-Africa trade. On the other hand, TOUGHA President supported the proposal and registered the commitment of her Union to cooperate with the High commission in achieving the intended objectives of the TIT forum in Ghana.
