Tanzania-Ghana Tourism, Investment and Trade Forum (TG-TITF) brought together tour operators, prospective investors, and international traders to engage in focused discussions geared at stimulating and promoting economic relationships between businesses in Tanzania and Ghana. Discussions were centered around opportunities and incentives for investing in Tanzania, trading in Tanzania products and exploring the diverse tourists' attractions available in Tanzania.

The hybrid event had both virtual and physical participants totaling about 80. Participants include the President and members of national and regional  chambers of commerce of Ghana, Ghana Tourism Board, importers and exporters association, President and members of the Tourism Union of Ghana, Dr. Ken Kwaku, Chairman Kwaku Group. The Forum received media participation from Ghana TV, Citi TV and FM, TV3 and FM, Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Chronicles.

Some of the possible gains will include (i) increased knowledge of the Ghanaian public on the diverse investment opportunities and incentives, available Tanzania products for importation and tourists attractions open for exploration and marketing; (ii) opportunity for chambers of commerce in Tanzania and Ghana to cooperate within an agreed framework established through an MoU; (iii) possibility of tour operators undertaking a familiarization tour to Tanzania; (iv) enhanced diaspora involvement and commitment to national issues, among other things.

The High Commission is open to receiving further enquiries from participants regarding their specific areas of interest and to facilitate further exploratory visit by companies and organizations in Ghana to the relevant authorities in the United Republic of Tanzania.
